Overview of the Business Revival Unit

 ESTABLISHMENT
In accordance with the Central Bank of Sri Lanka's Circular No. 02 of 2024, SDB Bank has established a Business Revival Unit effective from 01st July 2024.

 

 KEY OBJECTIVES OF THE BUSINESS REVIVAL & REHABILITATION UNIT
Identify and Assist Borrowers:
  • Support both performing and non-performing borrowers experiencing financial or business difficulties.
  • Address challenges such as reduced income, cash flows, sales, impaired operations, or temporary closures.
Revive Viable Businesses:
  • Focus on businesses that are fundamentally viable but facing financial difficulties.
Provide Sustainable Benefits:
  • Aim for long-term benefits for both borrowers and the Bank.

Enhance Economic Activities:
  • facilitate the revival of businesses to boost economic activity.
Contribute to the National Economy:
  • Support the overall development of the national economy through business recovery and growth.
