Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead the branch’s business strategy, ensuring aligning with the banks overall objectives to drive profitability & expand market share. This role involves developing sales targets, managing staff performance, and maintaining and sustaining customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction levels. The role holder should also ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and collaborate with various internal & external stakeholders to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 08 years’ experience in branch banking operations.
- Degree or equivalent professional qualification in business management/ finance management or relevant field from a recognized university/ professional body.
- Diploma in Banking & Finance or Diploma in Applied Banking & Finance (DABF) from the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka will be an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge of demography in the respective area and possession of good rapport with various business communities, government & private institutions, and social organizations.
- Proven track record in selling & sales management in a multiproduct environment
- Excellent linguistic proficiency in Sinhala, English, and Tamil, relevant to the geographical area of the branch.
- Good business planning, analytical skills & strategic thinking.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Leadership skills & ability to influence.
- Team building and motivational skills.
- Ability to organize and result in orientation.
- IT literacy.
