Position Overview:
As the Manager – Cards and Merchant Acquiring, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive growth in the Cards and Merchant Acquiring business while meeting customer needs and enhancing profitability. Key responsibilities include building relationships with branches and business partners, supporting and driving sales initiatives, analyzing market trends to improve performance, and maintaining accurate records.
Candidate Profile:
- Possess a minimum of 08 years’ experience in Banking/ Finance with exposure to payment cards industry.
- Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Business Administration/ Finance or a related field from a recognized university/ professional body.
- A master’s degree or relevant certifications in IT will be an added advantage.
- In-depth understanding of the Payment Cards industry, including knowledge of merchant acquiring, transaction processing, and card issuing.
- Strong budgeting and financial analysis skills to assess profitability, manage KPIs, and optimize cost-efficiency within the Cards & Merchant segment.
- Familiarity with digital banking platforms, transaction systems, and the technical requirements for card processing and merchant acquiring.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Central Bank regulations, PCI compliance, and other legal and regulatory standards impacting card and payment services.
- Ability to manage multiple projects related to system enhancements, vendor coordination, and marketing campaigns.
- Strategic Thinking, Innovation & Analytical skills.
- Effective Communication & Negotiation skills.
- Possesses a customer focused mindset, excellent interpersonal skills with social empathy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
