We are on the lookout for a proactive and highly experienced professional in Technology Risk to join our esteemed team.
Position Overview:
Responsibilities of the Manager Technology Risk involves in working closely with the IT department of an organization and with the Chief Information Security Officer to secure information and create and implement strategies that minimize a variety of risks that could threaten the key information of the firm. Managing all relevant risk factors, such as the risk of a system failure or loss of data. Also consider things like reputational risk and developing and implementing policies that are designed to demonstrate compliance with industry regulations.
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of 08 to 10 years of experience in a Bank or financial institution including 02 years’ of experience in the Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager Grade.
- Experience in Information Technology Operations in a bank or a Financial Institution is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent professional qualification in information technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or a related field from a recognized university/professional body.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) can be advantageous.
- Have a keen eye for understanding and identifying process controls, control gaps, process walkthroughs.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective trustworthy relationships with the IT department and business stakeholders
- Staying aware of Information Security current affairs, business continuity, data management, security and encryption, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, and audit
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to be able to articulate complex IT risks in simple business terms
- Excellent problem solving and self-management skills in order to tactically and analytically solve technical problems and successfully handling management information and metrics design, collection, analysis, reports, etc.
